Minecode is currently looking for a seasoned Business Development Manager to join our growing team in Portland, OR.
The ideal candidate will be an individual who is excited about the opportunity to work in a small business with an entrepreneurial environment and is looking forward to the opportunity to help set the direction for the sales organization. Candidates who are passionate and motivated to drive in new business are a must. A BS in Business, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent is required. 5+ years of quota achievement experience in sales, business development, and channel development as an individual contributor is also a must. Your background should include experience in the SAAS and Custom Application or Web Application Development sales. Understanding and experience in sales for an outsourcing - onshore/offshore delivery model a plus.
You will be accountable for the following:
- Maintain sales forecasts, pipeline data, new opportunities and accounts in Salesforce.com
- Work with VP of Sales on Strategy, Services Development, etc.
- Building client relationships
- Using seasoned sales strategies, cold calling and networking to bring in new business
- Meeting sales targets by prioritizing opportunities
To be considered for the positions, candidates must have:
- Proven successful sales experience in consulting, SAAS and Custom Application Development services at the enterprise level
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Sales
- Excellent business presentation and proposal writing skills
- Familiarity with MS Office 2007 suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with Saleforce.com or other CRM equivalent
